Coffee Roasters of Portland Eastside Walking Tour - A Brewed Exploration of Portland’s Roasting Culture

This small-group walking tour begins at Around Portland Tours’ meeting point (833 SE Main Street #124) and leads guests through 1.5 to 3 miles of Eastside streets, stopping at several artisan coffee roasters and brew bars. You’ll sample coffee at two stops, observe roasting and brewing techniques, and hear stories about how this formerly industrial neighborhood evolved into a hub for food, art, and artisan makers.

Along the way, the guide weaves in local history, community connections, and the passion behind Portland’s deep coffee culture. The pace is relaxed and conversational, balanced between walking, tasting, and discovering hidden corners of Eastside Portland. The tour is typically 2 hours long and includes two coffee tastings.
