Stone Mountain Park Sightseeing Tour

This half- to full-day sightseeing tour departs from a central Atlanta meeting point (often Hero Doughnuts & Buns) and drives participants to Stone Mountain Park via scenic roads. On arrival, you’ll explore multiple park features with 3–5 stops depending on conditions: the Quarry Exhibit, Stone Mountain Museum, Indian Island, Stone Mountain Village, Scenic Railroad, and optionally ride the Summit Sky Ride (cable gondola) to the mountain’s top for sweeping views.

As you move through the park, your guide shares the geological history of the granite monolith, local ecology, and stories behind the Confederate Memorial Carving. You have free time at select stops for walking, photography, shopping, or riding attractions. The return trip brings you back to the meeting area in Atlanta.
