Leavenworth Day Trip from Seattle
Seattle, United States
Depart from downtown Seattle on board a comfortable coach with guided commentary through the lush Pacific Northwest terrain. The drive winds past Lake Washington, Bellevue and Woodinville, before ascending through the foothills and the Cascade Mountains. Along the way you’ll make a fun photo-stop at the “Bigfoot” area (a playful nod to the movie “Harry and the Hendersons”).
Arriving in Leavenworth, you’ll have around two hours of free time to explore this charming Bavarian-themed town. Wander its picturesque streets lined with timber-frame façades, visit artisan shops, enjoy German-style cuisine (sausages, spätzle, beer) and galleries, and soak in alpine scenery. After lunch (own expense), on the return trip you’ll stop at Deception Falls - a cascading waterfall tucked into the forest - to stretch your legs and enjoy nature before arriving back in Seattle.
Logistics: The tour starts early (around 9 a.m.), includes bottled water and snacks, round-trip transport from Seattle hotels or designated meeting points, and lasts roughly 8-9 hours. Lunch, personal purchases and gratuities are not included.
