Mt. Rainier Day Tour from Seattle
Seattle, United States
Begin early in the morning at one of four convenient downtown Seattle meeting or pickup locations. You’ll board a climate-controlled mini coach and travel toward Mount Rainier, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide.
Your first major stop is the Longmire area, where you can explore the museum, gift shop and short walks. From there you journey deeper into the park, stopping at iconic waterfalls such as Narada Falls and Christine Falls for memorable photo ops.
At the visitor centre area (often the Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center in Paradise) you’ll have lunch (own expense) and time to soak in the grandeur of the mountain and its surroundings - meadows, glaciers, forests.
Depending on season and conditions, additional stops may include Reflection Lakes or Tipsoo Lake, offering reflective views of the mountain and its alpine setting.
After a rich day immersed in nature, you’ll return to Seattle in the evening. It’s a long day (about 10-11 hours) but efficient for visitors who want to experience Rainier’s highlights from the city.
