Olympic National Park One-Day Tour from Seattle
Seattle, United States
Begin early in the morning with pickup in downtown Seattle. Travel by coach (and in many versions, ferry) across Puget Sound into the Olympic Peninsula.
Your guide leads you through the park’s remarkable variety of landscapes: at high elevation you may visit ridge viewpoints with sweeping mountain and Sound vistas; in the mid-range you’ll encounter glacier-fed lakes such as Lake Crescent and forested valleys; and the lower elevations bring you into old-growth rainforest and possibly coastal areas of the park.
Throughout the day you’ll walk short trails or viewpoints (actual stops vary by season and weather) and learn about the park’s ecosystems, geology, indigenous history, and conservation efforts. The tour returns to Seattle in the evening after approximately 10-13 hours (depending on route and conditions).
